Usage

• Indication: TEGLIFE M (1000) Tablets are used for the management of type 2 diabetes in adults, particularly when diet, exercise, and single-agent therapy do not result in adequate glycemic control.
• Benefits: Helps in lowering blood sugar levels, thereby reducing the risk of complications associated with diabetes.

Contraindications

• Hypersensitivity: Contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Tenegliptin, Metformin, or any of the excipients in the formulation.
• Renal Impairment: Not recommended for patients with severe renal impairment due to the risk of lactic acidosis.
• Metabolic Acidosis: Should not be used in patients with metabolic acidosis, including diabetic ketoacidosis.

Side Effects

• Common Side Effects: Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal discomfort, headache, and dizziness.
• Serious Side Effects: Lactic acidosis (rare but serious), severe hypoglycemia (especially when used with other antidiabetic medications), and acute pancreatitis.
