Usage:

• Treatment of bacterial infections such as pneumonia, urinary tract infections, skin infections, and intra-abdominal infections.
• Effective in the treatment of sexually transmitted infections like gonorrhoea.

Contraindications:

• Hypersensitivity to ceftriaxone or any other cephalosporin antibiotics.
• Not recommended for neonates with hyperbilirubinemia.
